Religious Education

St. Ambrose offers high-quality religious education for youth in grades K-High School on Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:45AM in the parish school building. Classes run from September through May. Registration for the next year began in March. Please register early as classes tend to fill up quickly!

Rite of Christian Initation for Children (RCIC)

Sacramental preparation for older students who have not received First Penance, First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation at the customary age (2nd grade for First Reconciliation/First Communion and 8th grade for Confirmation), in addition to Sunday morning classes, are to be enrolled in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) program.

For RCIC students in elementary school, the classes are on Monday evenings in the Parish Library from 7-8 pm. Please click here to download the full schedule.

While your youth is in Religious Education class, all parents and adult parishioners are welcome to join us in the school gym for a cup of coffee and faith discussion.

The Office of Religious Education is seeking catechists, aides, substitute catechists, and hall monitors for the parish's Sunday morning Religious Education program.
