EDUCATION: Formed in His Communion
Marian Consecration: Held every Wednesday Beginning April 22nd
Join us for 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat In Preparation for Marian Consecration by Fr. Michael E. Gaitley beginning
The book we will use is entitled 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat In Preparation for Marian Consecration by Fr. Michael E. Gaitley. It includes Marion spiritualities from St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, and Saint Pope John Paul II. A consecration is to set something aside for a sacred purpose, and so we are essentially setting ourselves aside for Christ. We want to give ourselves to Christ through his mother, Mary. Christ gave us Mary at the foot of the Cross - she will lead and guide us to her son. Louie de Montfort says that the surest way to become a saint is by consecrating ourselves to Mary.
But this sounds intimidating, right? Well, no! The study is one day at a time and requires about a page and half of reading and some time to reflect on that reading. The study is very forgiving and user friendly. If you miss a day just pick it up the next. Each week we will meet to watch a very short video and have some group discussion. After the 33 days, if you feel called to complete the consecration you may.
There is a Wednesday morning group that will begin at and an evening group that will meet at . Both groups will have their first meeting on .
The cost of the book is $5.
The cost of the The materials which include a workbook and textbook cost $30.
