“Communion is the fruit and demonstration of that love which springs from the heart of the Eternal Father and is poured out upon us through the Spirit which Jesus gives us (cf. Rom 5:5), to make us all ‘one heart and one soul’ (Acts 4:32). It is in building this communion of love that the Church appears as ‘sacrament’, as the ‘sign and instrument of intimate union with God and of the unity of the human race’.”
Blessed John Paul II

EDUCATION: Formed in His Communion

Christ educates the human heart today using the same method he has always used: through an experience of communion which invites men, women and children to come and see the beauty of his life with the Father through their Spirit of life and love. The vitality of our parish life depends on the openness and commitment of every St. Ambrose parishioner to be formed in the fullness of the faith. This ongoing education in what Pope Benedict calls "the great art of how to be human" is meant for parishioners of every age and circumstance.

In his last words to the apostles, Jesus gave them a mission:

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."  (Mt 28:19-20).

Searcher's prayer

Teach me, O Lord, to search for you. Show yourself to me when I search for you. If you do not teach me first, I cannot seek you. If you do not reveal yourself to me, I cannot find you. In longing may I search for you, and in searching long for you. In love may I find you and in finding you, love you. Amen.
