Hospitality

The life of communion lived together at St. Ambrose offers each parishioner an experience of the Lord's hospitality of the heart.

Prayer Team

Open to all Parishioners.  No meetings are involved.  Headed by a Prayer Coordinator who receives prayer intentions and notifies parishioners to pray for the intention.

Hospitality Committee

Open to all parishioners.  Volunteers are responsible for coordinating events dependent upon the needs of the parish.  Included are the receptions following First Communion and Confirmation each year.  Contact Pat Hermes : 703-280-4400

Altar Society

Men and women of Saint Ambrose who volunteer to care for the inside of our church. This includes light cleaning, caring for altar linens, candle and Holy Water font maintenance, etc. Contact Meredith Hartley: (703) 503-4958 (h); (703) 615-2768 (c) or Pat Kirk: (703)-698-7657.

Gardening Angels

This group is responsible for helping with various gardening projects on the St Ambrose property.  Contact: Jim Mayer; 703-280-4400

Friends of St. Joseph 

Volunteers do light maintenance work in the school and church and help keep up the parish grounds.  Contact: Bill Yaglou; wyaglou@itradenetwork.com

 

LECTORS NEEDED

Men and Women are needed to Lector at the Sunday, as well as, the Daily Masses. If you can help out, please contact the Parish Office at 703-280-4400.
